Gynaecological Cancer – Genetic Testing

This is a photo of a number of people grouped together who met to take part in a patient engagement event to create multi-language materials for patients who are offered genetic testing. The Pan-Birmingham Gynaecological Cancer Centre, based at City Hospital, has worked jointly with the University of Birmingham and Cancer Research UK Cambridge Centre to produce multi-lingual information about genetic testing following the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.

The work was funded by Ovarian Cancer Action as one of the IMPROVE-UK awards – read more here: Funding boost to improve ovarian cancer survival rates
