Join our Youth Advisory Group

Our youth forum known as ‘Youth Space’ is for people aged between 13 to 21 years, who are interested in health and would like to find out more about our hospitals and community services.

The purpose of the forum is to give young people a voice and to work with us improve services. Each session has a focused theme, so as a young person, you will learn about how our hospitals work and have the opportunity to get involved and tell us what’s good and what’s not so good, so we can make things better for our local population. We also help our members with their CVs, UCAS applications etc. And it’s a great place to meet like-minded young people.

Members are also treated to a fun ‘thank you’ activity every quarter, e.g. go karting, bowling and ice skating.

Travel expenses are covered and food and drink are provided.

Sound interesting? Then call 0121 507 2671 or email the team at swbh.engagement@nhs.net to join.
