Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust (SWBH) is inviting people to pitch their alcohol related health questions to an alcohol specialist nurse.
Jas Chahal, Alcohol Treatment Practitioner, will be on hand between 1 and 2 pm on Wednesday 19th March to answer questions and dispel any myths related to drinking.
Jas said: “The aim of the chat is to raise people’s awareness of their drinking habits and give advice or direct people to where they can get help if they need it.
“Anyone who finds themselves drinking daily or binge drinking should contact their local alcohol services, as there could be serious long term effects on their physical and mental wellbeing.”
Twitter followers can put their questions in using the hashtag #SWBHjustask.
This is the first SWBH twitter surgery this year, giving patients the chance to ask questions to our clinicians without having to book an appointment.
