Trust Board

The Trust Board

We want to deliver continuity of care, supporting patients in their own home wherever that is possible. With that in mind, we are working hard to make this a more successful winter, with fewer delays and cancellations; to raise  morale and engagement among those who work for us; to make our investments truly effective as we prepare for the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital; with our local Clinical Commissioning Group to deliver more care closer to home as we take the best of community nursing in Sandwell and make it our norm; and to build on our ground-breaking work in regeneration and apprenticeships.

The best of what we do is outstanding. We are determined to make that standard what we do at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.

Members of the public were invited to find out more about the Trust’s past year and future priorities by joining its virtual annual general meeting which will took place on Wednesday 7 September between 4pm-5.30pm.

The event focussed on how the development the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital will substantially regenerate the area and revealed the organisation’s five-year plan which aims to ensure a great experience for patients, people (the staff employed by the Trust) and the population.
