All media enquiries should be made to the Communications Department on 0121 507 5303 or by emailing swbh.comms@nhs.net. However, if your enquiry is urgent within our working hours of 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday please contact one of our team below. If your enquiry is out of hours please call 0121 553 1831 and ask for the on call manager.

If you are a patient with an appointment query please call the Contact Centre regarding it. Please see our FAQ for details. The Communications team do not have access to patient details or records.

We welcome enquiries from members of the print, broadcast and online media and will make every effort to answer questions promptly.  Please note that the Communications Department should be your first point of contact and all staff have been advised to refer any approaches from members of the media to the team.

Permission to film

Anyone wishing to film or take photographs on any of our sites, must secure permission in advance from the Trust’s Communications Team.  Anyone who is found to be filming or taking photographs on one of our sites without permission will be asked to leave immediately, and footage and photographs already obtained may be confiscated.

Patient confidentiality

We place great emphasis on the need for the strictest confidentiality in respect of our patients. We will not divulge any information about a patient unless we are given permission from the individual or their next of kin.
