Newton 4 is a rehabilitation ward for stroke patients who have been transferred from Newton 1 after their condition has been stabilised.
The ward accommodates 22 patients.
Visiting hours are usually 2.30-4pm and 6.30-8pm, but opening visiting times can be arranged in exceptional circumstances.

Patients on Newton 4 are cared for by a multidisciplinary team. This includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists, in addition to consultants, doctors, nurses and health care assistants.

Patients on Newton 4 will usually be transferred from the acute stroke ward (Newton 1) so should already have the necessary belongings with them, including medication and toiletries.
Newton 4 is on the 4th floor of the main building of Sandwell Hospital
