D16
D16 is an acute medicine ward for male patients. The ward accommodates 23 patients.
(D16 will be changing to a female ward in the near future but this is to be confirmed.)

Patients staying on D16 will need to bring:
β’ Any hygiene products (such as pads)
β’ Any medicines or tablets you take
β’ Overnight clothes
β’ Dressing gown and slippers
β’ Daywear β tracksuit or comfortable clothes
β’ Undergarments
β’ Toothbrush and toothpaste
β’ Soap and deodorant
β’ Bath towel and a flannel or sponge
β’ Shaving equipment if appropriate
β’ Sanitary products if appropriate
β’ Tissues or disposable wipes for hand and personal hygiene
β’ A book or magazines
β’ Spectacles if you need them
β’ Small amount of change for newspapers or bedside TV and telephone
β’ Bottle of squash
β’ Walking aid β frame, stick, crutches β if you need them
Do not bring:
β’ Large amounts of money
β’ Valuables such as jewellery
β’ Television or radios
β’ Alcohol
Ward D16 is located on theΒ first floor of City Hospital, in the main corridor.
