Mr Bichitra N. Das

After working as a Substantive Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, (Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust) for over 16 years, Mr Bichitra Das moved to BMEC in 2010.

His special interests are management of macular degeneration, retinal vascular disorders and diabetic retinopathy (Retinal Laser and Intravitreal  injection of Lucentis and Avastin). He also carries out General Ophthalmology clinics at BMEC and Rowley Regis Community Hospital.
