After my education from Madurai Kamraj University in India I did my postgraduate training in dermatology and venereology at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research in northern India. I continued my post graduate training in general medicine in England. I completed my specialist training in genito-urinary and HIV medicine in the West Midlands region. There have been large numbers of people contracting sexually transmitted diseases and HIV infection, which offers me a unique opportunity and challenge in helping tackle these problems.
