I joined the Trust in 1982. During my career I ahve seen huge technological advances in imaging. There was no ultrasound, CT or MRI when I first started training in radiology and we spent much of our time doing fairly barbaric procedures, which fortunately are now largely obsolete. My main radiological interests now are ultrasound and nuclear medicine but I have also spent much of my career holding various local, regional and national roles in postgraduate education, maintaining a keen interest in undergraduate teaching and career advice. I am keen on communicating with GPs and will take the time to contact them with important results.
