Choose and Book
Choose and Book is a national IT system that enables patients to choose where they wish to attend their first outpatient appointment and to book a convenient date and time from the choices available to them at their GP surgery.
The Trust first implemented Choose and Book to book first outpatient appointments in September 2005. We currently provide direct bookings into over 318 services. This is 91% of our all of our services and includes community-based clinics.
The Trust has made two week wait for breast services and diagnostics for Audiology appointments available for direct booking via Choose and Book.
