Local companies, community groups, schools and individuals have responded in their droves to our Christmas appeal.

Children enjoyed visits from West Bromwich Albion players, Santa, Rudolph and a host of other characters who stopped by with bags of gifts throughout December. Organisations such as The Oak House Museum in West Bromwich, Asda Great Bridge and Asda Tipton, West Midlands Fire Service, Sainsbury’s Distribution Centre in Coleshill, B&Q Coventry, Rosie’s Helping Hands, Sandwell Garages, Queen’s Square Shopping Centre, Unite the Union and Mecca Bingo all responded to our plea to ensure that sick children in the West Midlands had an amazing Christmas. Local schools also got involved like Stuart Bathurst who donated almost £1,000 and Perry Beeches Academy who spent the day decorating wards and spreading Christmas cheer at Sandwell Hospital.

The SWBH Charity is currently raising money to redevelop its children’s play area at Sandwell. If you would like to fundraise or donate to support this or any of our other services, contact the fundraising team on 0121 507 5196 or email swbh.fundraising@nhs.net
