Kathleen took up her position on 3 August 2020.
Kathleen began her career by initially training as RGN (Registered General Nurse) specialising in intensive care and renal nursing but since then has worked as both Director and Deputy District Nurse in various Acute Trusts. She has also worked in a Clinical Commissioning Group within community services.
Most recently, and prior to her appointment, she had been working as Director of Nursing, AHP and Psychologist at the Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. During this time the Trust achieved a successful merger with Dudley and Walsall Partnership Trust and obtained a ‘good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.
Coming into the role Kathleen looks to carry on from her predecessors and further develop and evolve teams and services. Factoring in the learnings we have acquired as a Trust from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
