Initial Assessment
The Learning Works can help members of the public by carrying out a skills and competency assessment. We can then help to match people to possible work opportunities in the NHS, or by offering apprenticeships or work placement schemes, either in the Trust or its partners.
We have access to a wide range of training funds, and can provide the necessary training directly from the Learning Works or with our own in-house teachers/tutors.
We assess numeracy and literacy skills by you completing an initial assessment. The assessment takes about an hour and your scores are given to you immediately. The results will lend its self to supporting a host of training opportunities that can help get people back into work.
The service benefit all sorts of people, including those who for various reasons may have been out of work for some time – perhaps to raise a family or due to unemployment.
