Our policy for patient information
We have a policy for producing information for patients that sets out how information should be researched, written, reviewed by patients and properly approved before it is used.
The health information we produce, and our policy for producing it, has also been certified as reliable by The Information Standard. The Information Standard is a scheme which helps the public and patients identify reliable, good quality, evidence-based information through the use of an easily recognised quality mark.
To be certified with the Information Standard, an organisation has to demonstrate that the information it produces is:
- Up to date
If you want to know more about The Information Standard and find out which other organisations are certified you can visit their website: http://www.theinformationstandard.org/
