During your stay in hospital you may be connected to equipment as part of your treatment.  It is important that this is not touched or interfered with in any way.  Visitors and children, in particular, should not be allowed to play with equipment as there is a risk of it switching off, changing the settings or even damaging it.

Should the equipment sound an alarm, or you have any concerns about how it is working, please contact a member of the ward staff immediately.
