Mr David Cheung graduated from Bristol Medical School in 1994 and started Ophthalmology training in 1995. His General Ophthalmology training consisted of working in teaching hospitals in Sheffield, Bradford, Leeds and Birmingham, followed by internationally renowned Eyelid, Lacrimal and Orbital fellowships at Leicester and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. He took up a consultant position in 2005 working at Sandwell General Hospital and Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley.
His practice deals with functional problems of the eyelids, tear drainage system and orbits including entropion / ectropion, ptosis (droopy eyelid), tumours of the lids, facial palsy and watery eyes. He also treats patients that require reconstruction following lid & orbit trauma, thyroid eye disease and rehabilitation surgery for artificial eyes.
