Mr Anil Aralikatti

Mr Anil Aralikatti was appointed as Consultant Ophthalmologist at the BMEC in 2009. His Higher Specialist Training spans across Yorkshire, West Midlands and Nottingham. He has a Specialist interest in Cornea and External Eye Diseases. His surgical expertise includes complex cataract surgery, modern corneal transplant surgery (Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty, Big Bubble Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty) and a range of other corneal surgery.

He is the Lead Clinician for the RiverBrook Community Ophthalmology Services having developed this venue in June 2010. He also manage the Ophthalmic Accident and Emergency at BMEC.

He is involved in various teaching and training activities. He is the College Tutor at BMEC and the lead for Ophthalmology Trainee Selected Components at the West Midlands Deanery.
