Speciality
I studied medicine at Tripoli University, Libya and graduated in 1995. I had my initial training at the main teaching hospital in Tripoli, and then came to the UK to continue my specialist training. I completed my training in respiratory and general medicine in the West Midlands. I also carried out research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the area of lung inflammation in COPD and Bronchiectasis. My role at the Trust as a respiratory consultant will span across both sites I will be working with my colleagues to deliver a specialised respiratory service both in the hospitals and out in the community.
