This is Mark’s SWBH Moment.
The West Midlands has one of the highest rates of Tuberculosis (TB) in the country. Mark had experienced homelessness for many years, and like many others who find it difficult to access healthcare services, he had never been tested for TB. Thanks to a £30,000 charitable grant, we were able to take our mobile TB screening programme out to local hostels and homeless shelter service users. This helps Mark, and many others, to have their condition detected and successfully treated.
