Web Accessibility
At Sandwell and West Birmingham (SWB) NHS Trust we are committed to providing websites that are accessible to our diverse audience including people with learning disabilities, whose first language is not English.
We aim to meet the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 at the AA standard. These guidelines provide advice on making websites more user friendly for everyone.
We will do our best to meet the above guidelines and standards however it may not always possible to do so in all areas of our websites. There may also be occasions where we do not meet your expectations, so if you do come across any issues please let us know. We also welcome any other feedback you may have on the accessibility of our website.
Google Translate
We use Google Translator on all of our websites to ensure information can be easily translated into a range of languages.
Please note that as the translation has been performed by an automated service it may contain errors, therefore you should only use the translation as a rough guide. SWB NHS Trust does not accept liability for any inaccurate translations from Google Translate on our websites.
If you would like the translation of site content in a language which is not available, please email komal.keshavala@nhs.net so we can arrange this for you.
