Trust Board Under COVID-19

Due to the current Pandemic, our Board meeting on the 4th June 2020, which would usually take place in public, is being held remotely. Members of the public are welcome to submit questions that will be read out and answered during the Board meeting. The reply will be emailed to the questioner.  Please send in your question to swbh.comms@nhs.net by the Tuesday prior to the Thursday Board meeting. Please use “Trust Board Meeting Question” in the subject heading of your email.

For those who wish to still view our May meeting as it happens, a viewing has been arranged in Room 14 of the Education Centre at Sandwell General Hospital.

The Trust Board

We want to deliver continuity of care, supporting patients in their own home wherever that is possible. With that in mind, we are working hard to make this a more successful winter, with fewer delays and cancellations; to raise  morale and engagement among those who work for us; to make our investments truly effective as we prepare for the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital; with our local Clinical Commissioning Group to deliver more care closer to home as we take the best of community nursing in Sandwell and make it our norm; and to build on our ground-breaking work in regeneration and apprenticeships.

The best of what we do is outstanding. We are determined to make that standard what we do at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust.
